I start a new job next week, and with it comes a completely different schedule. No more working nights, weekends, holidays, etc. I’m coming back to the land of the living and doing the unthinkable of working during the day and sleeping at night. While I’m very happy about that change, it’s going to disrupt my writing as I do most of that at night when my family is asleep. I’ve worked out a new writing schedule in my head, but any writer knows that making the plan and executing the plan are two different worlds. At any rate, my goal of posting a chapter a week remains.
And while I’m speaking on a chapter a week, I do want to apologize for my slow pace. I’m happy to be making progress at all, but I know it’s hard to read anything at a meager chapter a week. I’ve had a couple people voice the desire for more, and I understand. And I won’t lie, I could do more, but like anyone else, life keeps me pretty busy. I hope this new schedule will allow for more content. I’ll be able to write every day, which is a nice change, but I won’t have big blocks of time anymore either.
We’ll see how it goes.
